Summary
The amendment entails that the regulations no longer apply to stock exchanges and securities institutions. For securities institutions, there are corresponding provisions at the EU level and FI will no longer have the authorisation to issue regulations in this matter. For stock exchanges, the provisions have been moved to a new regulation (2018:21).
The amendment also entails that the general guidelines to section 1 have been removed.
The regulations will continue to apply for authorised trading venues until further notice. However, the regulations are not supported by an act or ordinance and can therefore not be applied.
The amendment enters into force on 1 January 2019. amendment 2018:22
