Summary

These regulations regulate how insurance companies shall submit information regarding life insurance to policyholders and what that information shall contain.

FI requires the companies to submit both pre-purchase information and information during the term of the insurance. The purpose is to make information regarding the life insurance companies' policies for collective consolidation clearer. Policyholders shall be informed on a regular basis about changes or deviations from the policy. The companies shall also provide information when an insurance policy's value is transferred from one insurance company to another.
