FI is in part expanding the requirements on the content of the key investor information document. The aim is to implement the European Commission's recommendation 2004/384/EC on the content of the key investor information document. Amendment 2005:14
FI is introducing new regulations on quarterly reporting for fund management companies, investment funds, etc. They apply to all fund management companies and UCITS, regardless of whether they have authorisation in accordance with the Investment Funds Act (1990:1114) or the Swedish UCITS Act (2004:46). The companies shall submit a quarterly report to FI for their annual accounts no later than the fifteenth day of the second month after the reporting date. Special requirements on reporting are also introduced for fund management companies with authorisation to manage the financial instruments of a third party. The companies shall also provide information on a quarterly basis about their equity. The requirements on the fund's reporting when investment funds may invest in accounts as part of the investment policy have also been expanded. Special reporting regulations are also introduced for fund management companies and other institutions with authorisation in accordance with the Investment Funds Act (1990:1114). Amendment 2004:12
