Finansinspektionen’s regulations and general guidelines regarding supervisory reporting for institutions for occupational retirement provision

Summary

The regulations apply to institutions for occupational retirement provision. FI introduces requirements on the undertakings to report quantitative data, which is needed for supervision and statistics at the national and EU level. Requirements are also introduced on qualitative supervision reporting. The regulations state in part which data the institutions for occupational retirement provisions must submit and when FI must have received the reports.

The regulations enter into force on 1 January 2020.

Amendments to the basic regulation

The amendment entails that Appendix 8 to the regulations is now complete. The appendix refers to reporting of group-based own funds and group-based capital requirements. Due to an error in conjunction with the printing of amendment regulations FFFS 2020:12, a page in the appendix was missing at the same time as another page was repeated twice.

The amendments enter into force from 28 September 2021. Amendment 2021:31

The amendments entail in part that the adjustment amount set out in Chpater 8, sections 2 and 6a of the Occupational Retirement Provision Act (2019:742) is added to the reporting templates and an adaptation of approved infrastructure investments is now its own sub-group under the capital requirement for market risk. The amendments also include an addition of reporting individual open derivative items.

The amendments entail that FI introduces new provisions on group reporting. The new provisions apply to the content and deadlines for reporting and the manner in which the report is to be submitted. The aim is for FI to gain a clear overview of the group's financial position and how individual firms may by impacted by other firms in the group. Amendment FFFS 2020:12
