Martin Andersson is leaving his post as Director General of Finansinspektionen (FI) to become a partner with the consultancy firm Oliver Wyman.
Martin Andersson has been employed as Director General of FI since January 2009. He has today given up his duties as Director General of FI. Deputy Director General Martin Noréus is taking over until such time as the Government appoints a new Director General.
– I have had the pleasure of leading FI for six years, comments Martin Andersson. It has been a fantastic time. At the same time FI faces new challenges. I feel in this situation that it is a good time to hand over to someone else who can lead FI for the next six years.
