On 17 February 2020, FI is introducing a new portal for reporting stock exchange information (previously called “financial reports”) and major shareholding notifications. The new log-in requires BankID and will completely replace the old method of logging in. However, the reporting procedure itself has not been altered and reports are submitted exactly the same way as before.
In order to be prepared for this transition, it is a good idea to register for an account at FI's Reporting Portal and delegate authorisations well in advance. This possibility will available as of 20 January 2020. More information and a link to the system can be found at About the Reporting Portal.
In the new portal, legal persons must specify their news distribution agency. To do this, an authorised signatory must log into the Reporting Portal, find the company, go to the tab Mark as News Distribution Agency, check the box The company is a news distribution agency, and then click Save.
Users who do not have a Swedish personal ID number or BankID must register using their email address and mobile telephone number. A link to the registration (Register a user account – Foreign residents) is available under About the Reporting Portal. A company administrator or a rapporteur can complete the registration for a legal person. A company administrator is the equivalent of an authorised signatory for a foreign legal person. The same link (Register a user account – Foreign residents) should also be used in this case.
