Have you decided to close your business? Read below about how to return your authorisation to FI.
When a firm returns an authorisation, FI must withdraw the authorisation. This withdrawal must be carried out in accordance with the relevant business legislation, for example the Banking and Financing Business Act. This means that FI decides how the firm should be wound down.
If you have a going concern, FI may impose some requirements on how you wind down the company. As soon as FI has decided on the withdrawal, you should contact us to discuss how the business should be wound down.

The matter is assigned a reference number and FI appoints an administrator. The administrator is responsible for the communication with you and your firm.
The administrator and the person responsible for the supervision can jointly decide that the firm must submit documents other than those specified above.
Once the documentation is complete, FI can decide to withdraw the authorisation.
The administrator will send the decision about the withdrawal of the authorisation to you, and it will be stated in the decision that your firm is no longer is subject to FI's supervision.
